What a paid plan changes

  • Clips you make have no watermark, and the watermark comes off the clips you already have, one clip at a time, under a minute for most clips. See Free plan for the two kinds of clip that keep it.
  • Your videos and clips are kept while you are on a paid plan. On Free they are deleted after 3 days.
  • You get brand templates: 1 on Starter, 2 on Pro and Business. See Brand template.
  • You get the Asset library: 10 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Pro and Business.
  • You can buy top-ups.
  • You get more Viral Edits every month: 5 Viral Edits a month on Starter, 15 minutes of Viral Edits a month on Pro and 60 minutes of Viral Edits a month on Business. See Viral Edit.
  • Business also comes with a tutorial webinar and dedicated support.

The clip editor, the four clip shapes and every caption style are on every plan, Free included.

If you subscribed at an earlier price

Your plan keeps the price it was bought at, and the credits that came with that price, for as long as you stay on it. Pro packs are no longer sold; packs you already have stay yours and renew as before.

You can move to one of today's plans on the pricing page whenever you like. Moving to today's price of the plan you are already on starts at the end of the period you paid for.

Yearly billing

A yearly plan is charged once a year. You get all 12 months of credits on the day you pay, and they last 12 months.

Top-ups

A top-up is a one time purchase of 100 to 10,000 credits at $0.12 a credit. For example, 100 credits cost $12.

Top-ups work on any paid plan, do not renew, and last 12 months. Press Add credits in the top bar to buy one.

Change your plan

Open the pricing page and pick the plan you want. A box shows the new price, what is due today and when the change starts. Nothing changes until you confirm.

ChangeWhen it happens
A higher plan, or monthly to yearlyRight away. A new billing period starts today.
A lower plan, or yearly to monthlyAt the end of the period you already paid for.

When you move up

Moving to a higher plan and moving to yearly billing work the same way. Your new month or year starts on the day you confirm.

  • You pay the full price of the new plan that day.
  • You get the full credits of the new plan that day.
  • You keep the credits you already have, with the same expiry dates.
  • Your next renewal is one month or one year from that day.
  • The days left in your old period are not paid back.

A change that is waiting shows a notice with a Cancel change button on the pricing page and the Subscription page.

If your card is declined, nothing changes.

Cancel your plan

Open Subscription and press Cancel plan. A box lists what changes, with the dates, before you confirm.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Then you move to Free, and this happens:

  • Every video and clip in your account is deleted 3 days after the plan ends. Download the clips you want before then.
  • New clips carry the watermark again. So does a clip you save again in the editor.
  • Brand templates, the Asset library and top-ups stop. They are for paid plans.
  • You keep your credits until you use them or they expire.

To keep your plan after all, press Undo cancellation on the same page before the period ends. If you subscribe again within the 3 days, your videos stay.

Payment method and invoices

On the Subscription page, Manage payment method opens a Stripe page where you can change your card. Stripe handles all card details.

Invoice history at the bottom of that page lists your last 12 invoices and your top-ups. Each line has a link to download or view it.

If a payment fails

A red notice appears on every page, and you cannot submit new videos until you update your payment method. The notice clears once the payment goes through.

If the payment keeps failing, your plan ends and you move to Free. Your videos and clips are then deleted 3 days later, the same as after a cancellation.

Refunds of charges

We do not refund unused time or unused credits. If you were charged by mistake, email us within 7 days of the charge. See the Refund Policy.
